Dining:
Here you can find plenty of traditional boardwalk fare: corn dogs, cotton candy, funnel cakes, popcorn, ice cream, and so on. If you're in the mood for something more substantial, though, you have so many choices to pick from.
Big River Grille & Brewing Works - This chain restuarant is one of those that's just what it says on the sign—in this case, a casual grill with a working microbrewery. You can watch through the glass enclosures to see the brewing process of the alcohol. No ADRs are accepted for this restuarant; it is first-come, first-served.
Boardwalk Bakery - You will find snacks and sandwiches here.
ESPN Club - This is a very popular sports themed bar and grill. They have over 100 screens for your enjoyment. Just be aware that it fills up quickly on big sports days! There is a small store located here and you can play video games too. No ADRs are accepted for this restaurant - so get there early if you want to watch a particular sporting event.
Flying Fish Cafe - An upscale seafood restaurant, the Flying Fish Cafe features an open show kitchen. You'll have to make a request at the podium if you want a good view, whether into the kitchen or out onto the boardwalk. Very popular; ADRs are strongly recommended.
Kouzzina by Cat Cora (formerly Spoodles) - This new restaurant takes Merranean cuisine in a new direction by featuring Iron Chef Cat Cora's unique blends of Southern and Greek flavors. The breakfast menu incorporates some Greek flavors but has plenty of American standards as well. Becoming very popular, with a strong early buzz.
The Belle Vue Lounge
Pizza Window
Seashore Sweets
Chef's Tasting Wine Dinner
Shopping:
Screen Door General Store - A small but adequate general store with enough supplies to stock the kitchen for your stay
Wyland Galleries - Underwater-themed prints and paintings, featuring the work of the artist Wyland. Very expensive, but very beautiful to browse.
The Yard (next to ESPN Club) - Sports-themed and ESPN-branded merchandise. A video game arcade fills half the space.
Dundy's Sundries
Thimbles & Threads
BoardWalk Character Carnival
Recreation:
- Atlantic Dance Hall - Don't let the BoardWalk's Roaring 20s decor fool you; inside the Atlantic Dance Hall, it's all modern. This is your standard off-the-shelf dance club with all the attendant noise and crowds, even more so now that Pleasure Island's nightclubs have closed. Must be 21 or older. No cover.
- Jellyrolls - Dueling pianists take requests and try to one-up each other all night long. Get here early, or you won't get a seat, which you'll need after dancing to exhaustion. Must be 21 or older. $10 cover.
