Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas Kidani Village is the second phase of the project and opened in May 2009. This resort is beautifully decorated with an African theme. Your accommodations will include kitchenettes/kitchens and multi-bedroom units. You will not be disappointed with this resort as its main feature are the over 30 species of wildlife that roam free on a 21 acre savannas outside. Sit outside on your balcony or walk outside to observe these animals in their natural habitat. You will see Ankole Cattle, Eland, Zebra, Greater Kudu, Impala, Okapi, Reticulated Giraffe, Roan Antelope, White-Bearded Wildebeest, East African Crowned Crane to name a few. You may find that you don't even want to leave the resort to see the parks! Take time to walk over to Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) too. There is so much to look at inside and out!
This resort is a Disney Vacation Club Resort (DVC). You don't have to be a DVC member to be able to stay here.

Refillable mugs are $13.99 and are available at Johari Treasures and Maji Pool Bar. You can also refill at Mara in Jambo House. You are able to use these mugs to fill up on coffee and soft drinks for free while you are staying at the resort. These are not for use at the theme parks.

Sanaa - This new restaurant blends American, African, and Indian selections to provide a little bit for everyone. People who are vegetarians and vegans will find a lot to choose from here as this location is has one of the biggest selections of meat-free items of any Disney restaurant.
Maji Pool Bar - Grab a drink and relax by the pool.
Johari Treasures - This is a cute little store that you can pick up a quick snack, drinks, Disney merchandise, DVD rentals, etc.

Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time up to 3 hours after Disney Theme Park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 3:00 a.m. from the Downtown Disney Area. Certain areas of Walt Disney World Resort are also connected by well-lit, paved, low-grade walking paths.
