Disney's Animal Kingdom Area

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas are located in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House). This resort is beautifully decorated with an African theme. Your accommodations will include kitchenettes/kitchens and multi-bedroom units. You will not be disappointed with this resort as its main feature are the over 30 species of wildlife that roam free savannas outside. Sit outside on your balcony or walk outside to observe these animals in their natural habitat. You will see Ankole Cattle, Eland, Zebra, Greater Kudu, Impala, Okapi, Reticulated Giraffe, Roan Antelope, White-Bearded Wildebeest, East African Crowned Crane to name a few. You may find that you don't even want to leave the resort to see the parks!

This resort is a Disney Vacation Club Resort (DVC). You don't have to be a DVC member to be able to stay here.

Dining:

Jiko - This upscale restaurant, with its authentic African entrees, is very popular. This restaurant is not as kid-friendly as Boma.

Boma - African and American cuisine served buffet style. Therea are more than 50 different selections to choose from. Something for everyone; including several kid-friendly items.

Mara - This counter service restaurant serves mostly American-type foods.

Victoria Falls - This is a casual lounge that overlooks Boma. It is a great place for some quiet drinks at the end of the day, or while you're waiting for your table at Jiko.

Shopping:

Zawadi Marketplace - This is one of the largest resort stores on Disney World property. You will find so many goodies including clothing, African souvenirs, statues, paintings, etc. It is a really fun place to shop!

Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time up to 3 hours after Disney Theme Park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 3:00 a.m. from the Downtown Disney Area. Certain areas of Walt Disney World Resort are also connected by well-lit, paved, low-grade walking paths.
