Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a nod to the Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Island seashores of the 1880s, the Yacht Club is not as casual as its sister resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, with which it shares amenities. You will get the feeling of being on a ship at sea, with lots of neutral colors interspersed with brass and wood. The Yacht Club has a convention center and is very popular for business gatherings. The rooms here are much closer to the marina, the Friendship docks, and the BoardWalk area than Beach Club rooms are.

This is a smoke-free Resort; smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking locations.
Refillable mugs are $13.99 and are available at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, Beach Club Marketplace and Hurricane Hanna's Grill. You are able to use these mugs to fill up on coffee and soft drinks for free while you are staying at the resort. These are not for use at the theme parks.

Beaches and Cream (Disney's Beach Club Resort) - A 50s-style soda shop, specializing in fountain drinks and ice cream. You can also order burgers, chicken, salads, and sandwiches.
Cape May Cafe (Disney's Beach Club Resort) -The cafe hosts two totally different meals, both all-you-care-to-eat buffet. Breakfast is Character Dining with Goofy and friends. Dinner is modeled after a seaside clam bake, with barbecue and pasta on one side and seafood on the other.
Captain's Grille - This casual restaurant offers a wide variety of entrees, including some excellent breakfast a la carte or an all-you-care-to-eat buffet. For lunch you will find a selection of sandwiches and dinner will have steaks and seafood. Great place for families looking for familiar kid-friendly foods.
Hurricane Hanna's Grill (at Stormalong Bay) - Basic burgers, hot dogs, and wraps. Convenient to the pool!
Yachtsman Steakhouse - An upscale steakhouse that features steaks, free range chicken, seafood, rack of lamb, etc. Quality is high, but so are the prices.

Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time up to 3 hours after Disney Theme Park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 3:00 a.m. from the Downtown Disney Area. Certain areas of Walt Disney World Resort are also connected by well-lit, paved, low-grade walking paths.
