Pirates of the CaribbeanAdventureland - Magic Kingdom
This ride is housed in a golden Spanish fort called Castillo Del Morro. It is very dungeon like - cold and damp (very nice on those hot Florida days). Your boat journey takes you past dead pirates washed up on shore and then it gets very dark and quiet as you drop 14 feet over a waterfall. This will take you on a ride through a town were pirates are creating mayhem for the villagers. They are pillaging, chasing women and drinking too much! Meanwhile the lead pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, seeks hiding places trying to find the treasure map, the key to the town's riches—as are the other swashbucklers who are trying to beat him to the booty. All the while you are watching the scene you are listening to the famous, "Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates Life for Me" song. Captain Jack gets the goods in the end and some of the unlucky ones end up in jail trying to coax a dog to fetch the keys for them. Height Requirement: Any Type: Fun for all ages; be aware of the 14 foot drop and the dark areas - it may scare the little ones. Located: Inside Fastpass: No |
