Walt Disney World Golf

Walt Disney World has a number of options when it comes to golf. On this page, we are including both traditional golf options and miniature golf.

Disney World Golf

Walt Disney World has four 18 hole golf courses and one 9 hole golf course. Disney is known for world renowned service, and their golf courses are no exception. Joe Lee and Tom Fazio have created courses that will present you with various challenges in design and course strategy on championship caliber courses. The three Joe Lee courses (the Magnolia, Palm and Lake Buena Vista) are throwbacks to more traditional Florida golf course design. The Palm and Magnolia courses currently host the annual PGA Tour professional event in the fall of each year, which has been a part of Disney World golf tradition since 1971. The Tom Fazio designed Osprey Ridge course brings an updated approach to course design with interesting challenges and elevations in the midst of the more remote parts of the Walt Disney World property. Disney even offers a more family oriented 9 nine hole course, called Oak Trail which is a walking course, designed by Ron Garl. It completes the Disney golf course mix that is sure to please anyone.

Walt Disney World has consistently rated as one of the top golf resorts in the United States along with the accolades it receives for being a “Family Friendly” environment for family golfing experiences. The Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary Golf Program has also certified Disney’s golf courses.

On course food and beverage cart service is available and GPS yardage system equipped carts are available on the 18 hole courses. Rental clubs and shoes are available at each of the courses, if you are traveling light and/or make a last minute decision to play. Each facility has locker rooms and showers for your use before and after the round. Practice ranges and greens are available for pre-round warmups and lessons are also available from Disney’s PGA of America Professionals.

Monday through Friday, 18 holes will cost $89 if you're staying at a Disney hotel, and $104 otherwise. On weekends, add $10. During the summer, 10AM-3PM tee times are discounted; ask for the "Summer Price Slice" when you call. Late afternoon tee times are $59 on weekdays and $69 on weekends for everyone. Call +1 407 WDW-GOLF (939-4653) to reserve a tee time or book online at Disney's website here.

Walt Disney World Miniature Golf

Fantasia Gardens, (walk west, then south from the Swan), ☎ +1 407 560-8760. 10AM-11PM. Just southwest of the Walt Disney World Swan hotel is a whimsical pair of 18-hole miniature golf courses. True to the name, the area is themed around the 1940 animated feature Fantasia. The "Fantasia Gardens" course is the more traditional of the two, with big, colorful courses and obstacles and a few special surprises to boot. The "Fantasia Fairways" course is like a real golf course in miniature—rolling fairways, sand traps, and no rails to keep your ball from going off into the rough. It's much harder, too; young kids should stick to the Gardens course or head to Winter Summerland at Blizzard Beach. Adults $12, children $10 per 18 holes (second round, same day, is half price).
