Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter
2201 Orleans Drive Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 Phone (407) 934-5000
Downtown Disney Area
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter opened in May 17, 1991. The resort has 1,008 rooms located in seven 3-story guest buildings that house 144 rooms each. The theme, of course, is the historic New Orleans French Quarter district. You will find cobblestone walkways, wrought iron railings, antique lampposts and fountains, etc. The Sassagoula River runs along this resort and gives a very peaceful backdrop along with the lush landscaping that Disney does best! Doubloon Lagoon pool makes you feel like you are smack dab in the middle of Mardi Gras. It features a waterslide that looks like a huge sea serpent along with all of the other colorful statues. Guests can also swim at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside pool. Relax, take a stroll or grab a horse-drawn carriage ride - so much to do here.
