Tom Felton was interviewed with Teen Vogue in the June/July 2011. The 23-year-old actor talks about the kinds of responses that he recieves from playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies. “Reactions vary,” Tom shared. “I get some extremely excited twelve-year-olds, but I seem to scare the eight-and-unders: I’ve seen a couple of kids . . . well, I’m not going to say reduced to tears, but certainly on the verge, hiding behind their parents’ legs. I’ve learned to take it as a compliment. I must be doing something right if they don’t want to come anywhere near me.” On being typecast, "It's quite therapeutic. I'm not an aggressive guy, but I get to kind of vent my day-to-day frustrations about, you know, traffic or waking up late." He says goodbye to the "bad" guy image for a while in From The Rough. “It’s based on the true story of a golf coach who recruits a team of international misfits—a British guy, an Australian, a South Korean, a French guy, and an American. I play the South Korean (jokingly).
