Ryan Ochoa is a young American actor of Mexican descent best known for his role as ‘Lanny’ on the hit comedy series Pair of Kings on Disney XD. He was born on May 17, 1996, in San Diego, California. Ryan has three brothers (Raymond, Rick and Robert) and little sister, Destiny.
At just eight years old Ryan landed his very first professional acting job with his inclusion in the cast of a Dairy Queen commercial which aired nationally. He made his film debut in 2007 appearing as ‘Ryan Zorn’, the main character’s son in the movie Nostalgia. In 2008, he was cast in the short film Parental Guidance and the made-for-TV movie Mother Goose Parade. He also had a small uncredited role as a Choir boy in the critically acclaimed movie Seven Pounds starring Will Smith.
He then co-starred as ‘Norberto’ in The Perfect Game, a 2009 film about 9 young baseball players from Mexico who became the first ever non-American to become champion at the Little League Worlds Series back in 1957. The baseball film is also one of Ryan’s favorite roles so far. That same year, Mr. Ochoa voiced multiple roles, including that of one of the most popular characters, ‘Tiny Tim’, in Robert Zemecki’s 3D movie A Christmas Carol. He also lent his voice in the animated sci-fi film Astro Boy, playing the character ‘Rick’.
At such a young age, Mr. Ochoa has already got quite a number of TV appearances to his credit. Among them are guest appearances in the Canadian TV series Mr. Young, the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Disney XD’s Zeke and Luther. He also has a recurring role as Chuck in Nickelodeon’s iCarly, guest appearing in the following episodes: iHurt Lewbert, iReunite with Missy, iTwins, iFind Lewbert’s Lost Love, iBloop and iBeat the Heat as well as in the 3-Way-Random Debate at iCarly.com with the topic Cellphones vs. BBQ vs. Ladies. He also made appearances as himself on several shows on TV including Disney Friends for Change Game, Piper's QUICK Picks, Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards 2011, Disney xd xtra in 2011 and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2009.
His current residence is located in Los Angeles. For fun, Ryan loves to play football with his brothers, video games, baseball, and bowling. Furthermore, Ryan’s favorite foods include hamburgers and steaks.
Though Mr. Ochoa is an actor, he manages to schedule his time well so that he could still attend classes as he loves going to school especially learning Math. He also gives back to the community, supporting several children’s charities such as the Lollipop Theater Network.
Among Hollywood’s leading screen legends, Mr. Ochoa finds inspiration from Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey, Leonardo DiCarpio and Dwayne Johnson. Unknown to many, Ryan bonded and became best friends with his The Perfect Game co-stars Jansen Panettiere, Moises Arias, Clifton Collins Jr. and Jake T. Austin during filming.
Most recently, Ryan voiced the Martian hatchling in the motion capture animated movie Mars Needs Moms. Right now, the teen actor is seen on the Disney XD comedy series, Pair of Kings which has made Ryan a household name. He plays the role of Lanny, the devious cousin of Brady and Boomer. In this Emmy-nominated show, Ryan’s character is on a constant mission to sabotage and steal the throne from the kings. His mischievous grin and comedic timing has truly endeared him to the public.
