Madison Pettis is an American actress of African, American, French, Irish and Italian descent. She was born on July 22, 1998, to Steven and Michelle Pettis of Arlington, Texas. At age 4, Madison started taking dance lessons. She first gained notice when her mother entered her in an annual search for the cover of a local parenting magazine FortWorthChild and won. From then on Madison pursued a career in acting and modeling. At 5, Madison already had her own website and worked for campaigns for such companies as Neiman Marcus, General Motors and Procter & Gamble.

Like many girls her age, Madison was a fan of Disney Channel shows. The show That’s So Raven particularly inspired her to take acting classes. Her first taste of television came via "Barney and Friends," and she later worked on a voiceover role for the direct to DVD, Boz the Green Bear Next Door.

By the time she was 7, Madison and her family moved to Los Angeles with her eyes fixed on making it into Hollywood. She soon scored a number of roles including a guest appearance on the CBS’s drama series Jericho.  She later auditioned for a part in the Disney feature movie The Game Plan which starred Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and after a six-week process, Madison got the role of 'Peyton.' While filming The Game Plan, Pettis received a call telling her she got the role of 'Sophie,' the President’s daughter, in a brand new Disney comedy Cory in the House. Though filming of the movie and the TV series overlapped, Madison managed to do both work when Dwayne Johnson inadvertently got injured and was sidelined for months. By 2007, ‘Sophie’ or “America’s Angel” was introduced to the public. In this role, Madison made a guest appearance in Hannah Montana.

In 2008, Madison worked with High School Musical star, Corbin Bleu, in a feature film FreeStyle where she played his sister Bailey. She also did a cameo in Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who! She further scored roles in Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out? , A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa and Seven Pounds which starred Will Smith. She later voiced a role in the animated series Special Agent Oso on Disney Channel and made several appearances on television including a guest appearance as herself in the game show Are You Smarter than a 5th grader.

Madison's talent has already started to be recognized with her nominations in the Young Artist Awards for her role as ‘Sophie Martinez’ in the 'Outstanding Young Performers in a Series' and for her role in The Game Plan in the 'Best Performance in Feature Film Actress Age 10 Years or Younger.'

During her free time, Ms. Pettis loves to write songs and to dance. As a matter of fact, she has taken several lessons in hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz and flamenco among others.  Furthermore, she has an older brother who surprised her on the Bonnie Hunt Show in December of 2009 with an appearance right after returning from the Iraq war and not seeing one another for a year. Madison is an avid supporter of the USO and other charities.

Miss Pettis is the voice of Izzy in Disney Junior's "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" and portrays Allie Brookes in the Canadian teen sitcom, Life With Boys.

In 2011, Miss Madison was named a new member of the Love Pastry line.

Madison resides with her mom in Los Angeles and has a bright future ahead of her!
