Debby Ryan

Debby Ryan stars as Jessie, a starry-eyed small town military kid who ventures to New York City to make her dreams come true, and winds up becoming a nanny to four gregarious kids, in the Disney Channel comedy series "Jessie."

Ryan is perhaps best known for her starring role as Bailey Pickett on the hit Disney Channel series "The Suite Life on Deck." In 2010 she starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "16 Wishes." In addition to singing the movies theme song, "A Wish Comes True Everyday," she co-wrote a second track, "Open Eyes," with her singer-songwriter brother, Chase.

Ryan made her feature film debut in "The Longshots" alongside Keke Palmer and Ice Cube, and more recently starred in "What If," opposite Kevin Sorbo, John Ratzenberger and Kristy Swanson.

Born May 13, 1993, Ryan spent her early years in Alabama, Texas and Germany. She is heavily involved in music, collaborating with her brother and friends to create and produce original tunes. She hopes one day to launch a record label. She has a tremendous passion for meeting and speaking to young people and supports various charities. Her hobbies include riffling through vintage stores, writing, conducting interviews for her music blog and cooking delicious gluten-free brownies.

Ryan currently resides in Los Angeles with her family.
