Megan Larson is the teen-aged daughter of divorced parents. She longs to see her parents reconcile and for her to be included into the group of popular girls at school so that her crush, Cutter, would notice her and be his girl friend. But, sadly none of these things happen. Then, her mother meets a strange man and gets engaged. The more Megan gets to know her mom's fiancee and his teen-age daughter, the more she's conviced that they are aliens from another planet.
