"Lab Rats" actress, Kelli Berglund, was interviewed by Pixie Magazine. Take a look:

Pixie: How did you get into acting/how old were you?
Kelli Berglund: I was about 10 years old when I started acting and I actually had a best friend who was an actress herself and I always thought it was the coolest thing and thought one day I could give it a try. My whole entire life I've been a dancer and a singer too, so I've always been interested in the whole creative arts kind of thing. When I was 10 I did a school production where I was a featured dancer and actress. There was a talent scout there and she came up to my mom and asked if I had an agent and she recommended one to us, then we took her advice and it started from there.

Pixie: What was your first job?
Berglund: My first job was actually a Barbie commercial. It was really cool. It was my second audition that I had gone on and it was really fun. It was my first real experience being on a set and dealing with the acting world.

Pixie: What was HIP HOP HARRY like for you?
Berglund: I was 10 or 11 when I did Hip Hop Harry. That was the biggest thing I'd ever done. I got to work with all the other kids and we did it for several weeks. We filmed a bunch of different episodes and it was such an awesome experience.

Pixie: What are you trained in, in dancing?
Berglund: I'm trained in a lot of different things. I'm trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Point… everything basically! I was four years old and it started as every other little girl does. My mom put me in a little dance class just to see how I would like it and it ended up being something that was a passion of mine.

Pixie: Who are your dancing inspirations?
Berglund: I actually have a few. Stacey Tookey is one of mine. I actually got to work with her which was a dream come true because I look up to her so much. I love her choreography. It was so cool, I got to work with her on a job. And I really like Mia Michaels.

Pixie: Which would you rather do?
Berglund: I hate this question!! If I had to pick I'd probably say acting because I had a good run at dancing and dancing I can always do in my spare time. I think career-wise I'd probably pick acting!

Pixie: Your sister also dances, is she an actor, too?
Berglund: She's nine, so right now, she's just doing her dancing classes but seeing me acting and doing the show, she's been really inspired to try and do that, too. I think she might become interested in acting as well.

Pixie: Tell us about your character Bree on LAB RATS.
Berglund: She's 15 years old and she has her two bionic brothers that she's grown up with. She's a really confident girl and she's really, really outgoing. She has bionic powers so she could totally kick your butt if you mess with her! When she's introduced to the real world, some of that confidence goes away a little bit because she realizes she has to keep up with girl trends and what teenage girls are like. She doesn't really know how to act like that because she's been secluded. But she does it along with the help of her brothers. They all do it as one big family and she becomes more comfortable in her skin.

Pixie: What would you like to see Bree do more of on the show?
Berglund: I'm just excited to see Bree grow as a character, definitely, grow in confidence and just see her turn into this confident teenage girl and maybe make some new friends. Maybe have a love interest and just see her adapt to the real world.
