Laura Marano can relate to what her "Austin & Ally" character is faced with in tonight's new episode. Laura shared this with Bop and Tiger Beat:

“I have always loved my acting career and school because they are both equally important to me. In my freshman year of high school, I was determined to do as many activities as possible: Go to as many sporting events, get involved in Speech and Debate, and do play production. I really wanted to try out for the school play, but I knew that if I did that, I would not be able to audition for any parts for my actual acting career. I would have to give up professional acting for a little while in order to act (sounds weird, right?). I knew it was possible that I could miss out on important interviews, but I really wanted to do the school play, “The Front Page”. I talked it over with my parents and my agents, and I decided to do “The Front Page”. I had the best time ever, and even though I missed going out on professional auditions, I do not regret my decision at all to do my high school play.”
